Peace Beyond Understanding

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.(Php 4:6 KJV)

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.(Php 4:7 KJV)

These verses sum up my experience with the “Free from Sin” teaching that comes from an understanding of grace and faith. When you understand that our relationship with God is based ONLY on what He has done, you will find out the meaning of peace that passes understanding. Jesus tells us to take His ‘yoke’ upon us. His yoke gives rest to our souls and causes us to have peace beyond our comprehension.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.(Mat 11:28 KJV)

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.(Mat 11:29 KJV)

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.(Mat 11:30 KJV)

I have been a born again Christian for over 60 years, but about three years ago, I came across Andrew Wommack’s teaching on grace and faith. There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. This is now a reality for me that I had missed for decades. Although my blog is a new blog, it took a few months to get it ready to go live, the success for which I thank Heather Landcaster ( I will link to her site below. I am now (February 2026) in the process of onboarding with Andrew Wommack Ministries, and as part of my onboarding training have learned that if I reference him in my posts, that it is a legal requirement that I disclose that I am an employee of that ministry. Before you were conceived in the womb, He had a plan for your life. A plan for blessing you during your time on earth. This happens by having an intimate relation with God; that is with Father God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and especially with His word, which He exalts above His name.
